La integrante de la Selección
Colombia Coomeva, Carolina Colorado Henao compitió en la jornada del 2 de
agosto de 2012 en la prueba de 200 m espalda, prueba que se llevo a cado
durante la programación de los Juegos Olímpicos que se llevan a cabo en Londres.
Colorado durante su
participación en la jornada de hoy detuvo en cronometro en los 200 m espalda en
2.13.64, tiempo que mejora el Record Nacional Absoluto impuesto por la misma
deportista el 13 de marzo de 2012 donde realizo una marca de 2.14.36 en Belén
do Pará, Brasil, durante el desarrollo de los Campeonatos Sudamericanos de
Natación.
Con este resultado culmina la
participación de los nadadores colombianos en los Juegos Olímpicos, Londres
2012. Resta la participación de nuestros clavadistas, el 6 de agosto Sebastián
Villa Castañeda competirá en trampolín 3 m.

Durante la jornada del 3 de
agosto de 2012 los representantes de la natación colombiana en Londres
atenderán a los medios de comunicación que se encuentran en los Juegos
Olímpicos.
A las 2.00 p.m. el grupo de
cinco atletas y tres entrenadores, junto al presidente de esta Federación Dr.
Edgar Iván Ortiz Liscano se ubicarán en la entrada a la Villa por la estación
Straford, donde los nadadores Omar Andrés Pinzón García, Mateo de Angulo
Velasco y Carolina Colorado Henao y los entrenadores Sergio Artistizabal y
Jairo Lizundia realizarán un balance de la participación de la natación en
estas justas olímpicas.
Además Sebastián Villa
Castañeda y Víctor Ortega Serna responderán inquietudes sobre su participación
en estas Justas Olímpicas que se iniciará el próximo 6 de agosto.
